How much space do you need?

Our modern, professional equipment allows us to work within most spaces. Typically we need a space of 5x3 metres, but in some cases we can perform in smaller areas.

How is it best to time things?

Drive are very flexible when it comes to the timings of your event. With years of experience performing at all different types of events, we understand that no event is the same. We will be in touch with you in advance so that you can organise and dictate what times you want us to play.

Can I pick the bands playlist?

Drive have a very varied and extensive repertoire, from which you can curate your entire setlist for the night if you wish. If you choose to do so, contact them prior to the event and we can arrange the specific setlist for the performance.

A large proportion of Drives’ performances are booked within the North of England, and the band are based in the North West. However, the band have, and will play all over the UK and internationally to make your event a memorable one.

Can I see you play live?

In the past, Drive have played shows and festivals that have been open to the general public, however, the majority of performances the band plays are private events.

Will you learn our special song?

Drive have, and always will do everything we can to play any requests you have to make your event as special as possible.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?

The video on the band's website is 100% a true reflection of Drive’s live performance. We pride ourselves on being 4 of the best musicians on the circuit and perform to the highest level every time we pick up our instruments.

How do I book you?

The best way to book Drive is through the contact page on this website, or through our agency. You can also email or call our booking agents.

Are you able to DJ in between sets?

Drive bring a laptop to every single event; we will play music before our set and during the interval so there is a natural flow to the entire night. Drive offer an upgraded DJ set following the performance where a member of the band will always be available to take requests and make announcements.

Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

Of course you can. The band have an extensive and varied playlist of songs that we play at events to accommodate different styles and tastes. Any requests you give Drive in advance will be added to the playlist.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Yes, absolutely. If this is organised prior the event or you give the band notice on the night, you can you can use our microphones to conduct speeches.

What equipment do you use?

Drive’s PA system and live sound system is a combination of some of the best equipment currently available. We use a Mackie CFX20 MKii mixing desk, Peavey 2600 Power Amps, with sound going through Peavey speakers and subs to ensure that the audience get the best sound quality whatever and wherever the event. Being professional musicians, Drive take real pride in our instruments, and each member has spent years building the perfect combination to complement ourr playing styles. This setup includes Fender Guitars & Basses, Fender Amps, Boss, TC Electronics, Strymon, Electro Harmonix & Line6 Effects, Yamaha Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks and Ampeg Bass Amps.

Do you have lights?

Drive have a varied selection of Par can and LED lights, which creates a simple but very effective light show.

How long do you play for?

At the majority of events, Drive play 2 x 1 hour sets. However, if it suits the event better, we can also play 3 x 40 minute sets. Our vast repertoire also dictates that we can play for longer. This should be discussed in advance of your event, if required.

What time do you start and finish?

Start times will always vary dependant on what your event may be. The standard finish time for bookings is midnight; this means Drive will finish all music inclusive of DJ sets and background music by that time. Curfews for performances can often be dictated by the venue, so it is always worth checking with a venue beforehand as we may specify an earlier finish time. If you require a later finish this is not a problem; the band work with all our clients to accommodate such requirements and will be able to quote based upon this information. Start times will always vary dependant on what your event may be.

How long do you take to set up?

Drive have years of experience performing at events and setting up equipment; sound and lighting to the highest standard is very important them. On average, we recommend allowing 90 minutes for the band to set up ready to perform, dress the stage and sound check. This time allows the band to ensure everything is perfect for your event.

Can I provisionally book you?

Due to the high demand of Drive it is not possible to make a provisional booking; however, you can create an enquiry through our website that will generate a quote, and that way you will be given first refusal on the date if another enquiry comes in for the same day.

What if the band split up before my event?

This is highly unlikely as all members of the band are performing professionals who rely on the contracted work as our primary source of income. In the unlikely event that the band splits up, every effort will be made to source a band of the same quality, calibre and size, to ensure your big day goes off with a bang.

Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?

Drive will cater to valid requests of guest vocals, as long as it has been arranged in advance. This, however, will be limited to one song within the set.

What will the band wear?

For the majority of events Drive tend to wear a mixture of smart & formal attire to fit the occasion of the day. If you have any specific requests, e.g. a theme for your event, then please don't hesitate to let the band know and we will try our best to dress in an appropriate style.

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

All of Drive’s equipment is PAT certificated and tested, and this is kept up to date annually. All members of Drive have PLI cover with insure4music of up to £5 Million. If you require any further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the band.

Drive are a fresh, young and energetic 4 piece band from Liverpool. We play a wide variety of Indie/Rock/Pop material, with a repertoire ranging from 60’s classics right through to current chart-busters. From T-Rex to Arctic Monkeys, Thin Lizzy to Kasabian, we pride ourselves on our high-energy live show.

The four members have a vast amount of experience, having played at countless weddings and corporate events, as well as touring worldwide and playing some of the biggest and best venues and festivals of the circuit.

How much does it cost to book the band?

Prices vary and depend upon the location of the event and timings, as well as any upgraded options you have selected in addition to the main performance. The base rate for a booking starts at £1074.

Do Drive have any specific requirements?

Drive ask for a separate room to change in, and access to it from their arrival until we leave the venue. We also require some food and drinks for the duration of our stay at the event.

What type/size venues are you able to play at?

Drive have played a variety of venues in the past; country manor houses, marquees, barns, social clubs, boats, large outdoor stages, beer festivals, small intimate venues and private homes.

How loud will the band be?

Drive are a 4 piece Rock/Pop band, so the live show can get pretty loud. However, the band have played countless shows with reduced noise levels whilst achieving the same effect.

What is the band power requirement?

The band ask that you provide a minimum of two double 13 amp plug sockets close to the stage, ideally at either side of the stage / performance area. As a general rule the more power sockets you can provide close to the band’s performance area the better.

Do Drive offer any additional services?

Drive offer a DJ service which includes a manned laptop with a vast amount of songs from all eras. We can make basic announcements and will always take requests. For more information on this contact Alive Network.
